Letter to Attendees from the Team San Jose CEO

Dear 2018 Watermark Conference for Women attendees and staff,

On behalf of Team San Jose, I extend our sincerest apologies for the experience you had in our Convention Center. I understand that at least one third of the attendees were served frozen meals and that there were also issues with service and room temperature. We know this is completely unacceptable and Team San Jose accepts full responsibility for these incidents.

We had a refrigeration unit malfunction that resulted in the meals being frozen and we are making every change possible to insure this does not happen again. Please note too, that since this has never happened before, our staff was not experienced or trained to handle the situation. Based on your experience, moving forward, we promise to make sure our staff is better trained.

While I know this apology does not change your negative experience, it is my great hope to work with the Watermark Conference for Women team to find a satisfactory resolution and to rebuild the trust in service excellence that has been lost. We are committed to making sure that nothing like this ever happens again.
