• Additional spots and a new shift for Volunteers have been added!

Please note that the volunteer program at the CA Watermark Conference for Women has changed.

Volunteers are still needed to help us set up before the Conference and to keep things running smoothly on conference day. This year, however, we are only accepting volunteers that can help on one of five 8-hour shifts, noted below. The volunteer shifts currently available for the 2020 CA Watermark Conference for Women are as follows:

    • SHIFT 1: Tuesday, February 11, 2020: 9:00a – 5:00p
    • SHIFT 1a: Tuesday, February 11, 2020: 12:00n – 8:00p
    • SHIFT 2: Wednesday, February 12, 2020: 5:45a – 1:45p
    • SHIFT 3: Wednesday, February 12, 2020: 9:00a – 5:00p
    • SHIFT 4: Monday, February 10, 2020: 11:00a – 6:00p (NEW)

Volunteer sign up is ONLINE ONLY, and each shift has a limited number of spots. If you are unable to select the shift you prefer, it has reached capacity and you will need to sign up for a different shift.

You will receive an automated email generated by the website to confirm that your submission was registered. If you do not receive such an email within 24 hours of filling out the form, please go back and try signing up again using the same email address. The system will either accept the second try or indicate that the email has already been registered – either way your submission is confirmed. Please do not email the volunteer coordinator until you have tried to re-register as directed.

In January, you will receive a follow-up email from the Volunteer Coordinator Amy Blankenbiller (ablankenbiller@conferenceforwomen.org) seeking confirmation that you are still interested and available to assist. You MUST respond to this email to secure your spot. Be sure to check your spam folders – the volunteer coordinator will no longer call potential volunteers, and if you do not respond to the confirmation email we will reach out to someone else on the list.

    Important Notes

    • We cannot guarantee a seated job for any volunteer. There are a few tasks that may be done while seated, but it is unlikely that anyone will be able to be seated for his/her entire shift.
    • Volunteers helping on the day of the conference (2/12/20) will not have a seat in the Keynote Luncheon but will be provided lunch and will be able to watch the speakers through a live video feed in a separate room.
    • Volunteers helping with Resume Review or Coaches Corner should NOT sign up here. Please email ddmcveigh@conferenceforwomen.org for additional information.
