We highly encourage the use of public transportation and/ or carpooling to minimize time spent in traffic and looking for parking.  If you’re not within driving distance, please consider flying into San Jose via our Official Travel Partner, Alaska Airlines.

No matter how you travel, please consider that several thousand attendees will be arriving at the Convention Center at approximately the same time on conference day and plan for the possibility of delays.

Public Transportation:

The Convention Center Station is located in front of the McEnery Convention Center and is served by VTA Light Rail and VTA Bus Lines 23, 323, and DASH. Other nearby VTA Bus Lines include: 22, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 72, 73, 81, 82, 181, and 522.

Pre-purchase your Day Pass (good for unlimited rides all day) for $7 using VTA’s EventTIK smartphone app.

You can plan your trip using the trip planner at or call VTA Customer Service. Visit for more information.

Caltrain provides rail service between San Jose and San Francisco and is an option for attendees that wish to travel south to attend. The San Jose Diridon station is across the street from SAP Center (so arriving attendees could potentially walk there to take a shuttle to the Conference) or they could take the VTA Light Rail from the Diridon station to the Convention Center (two stops away).

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is another transit system that focuses on transportation through the East Bay and San Francisco. Attendees can easily take BART to Milbrae and transfer to the Caltrain to head to San Jose for the Conference. There are also bus options (VTA) that will allow attendees to get to Downtown San Jose from the Fremont station.
