Everyone struggles with mental health issues from time to time. Knowing how to care for your well being and when to seek professional help is as vital as caring for your physical health. In this high school-focused session, licensed marriage and family therapist, author, and YouTube sensation Kati Morton clarifies and de-stigmatizes the struggles so many of us go through during adolescence, including managing academic stress, navigating relationships, dealing with bullying, and everything in between. She shares strategies for managing stress, facing challenging emotions, and the red flags of mental health issues. Attendees will learn the best ways of talking about mental health with family and friends, and asking for support in difficult times.
