2019 Conference Logistics

Next week we’ll all be together learning, growing, and amplifying our power. Today? Let’s prepare.

Are you receiving our emails?

Before You Arrive

Please print your badge (your ticket into the event) before you arrive at the San Jose Convention Center. We’ll provide a lanyard and badge holder, but printing in advance will save time on Conference Day.

*Note: Only the primary registrant has access to print or email badges. If you did not purchase your own ticket, please see the primary registrant to get access.

Special Meal Requests

The deadline to request special meals has passed, but we will try accommodate late requests through Thursday, Feb. 14. Main registrants should log in to the registration and submit individual meal requests there. If you can see the option to specify an alternate meal for attendees, then we are still accepting requests.

If the lunch options don’t meet your needs due to restrictions, allergies or you simply want something different, you may bring your own lunch with you.

Getting There

On February 22nd, thousands of women will converge on the San Jose Convention Center at the same time.

We cannot stress enough how important it is to plan ahead for traffic, parking and crowded public transit. We suggest you take public transportation or carpool if at all possible, and allow extra time for travel so you don’t miss anything.

You’ll find directions, parking options, maps and help navigating public transportation on our Travel and Discounts page.

What Should You Bring?

– An updated résumé—recruiters will be on site, as will complimentary résumé reviewers and career coaches.
– Fashion gift card donations. We are partnering with 1Closet to support teens in need and invite you to join us. 1Closet helps promote the confidence, self-expression and academic success of teens in foster care and youth shelters by providing them with clothing that makes them feel good. You can join the effort by contributing apparel gift cards at the 1Closet booth (#600) in the Exhibit Hall.
– Your smartphone. The official conference app allows you to create your own private agenda, interact with fellow attendees, and easily follow up with anyone you meet at the conference. Stay tuned for download links!
