Mary L. Willner

MARY L. WILLNER is vice president in the client computing group and general manager of client software and systems at Intel Corporation. She is responsible for software ingredient development, software infrastructure and system-level validation across multiple operating systems, including Android, Chrome, Linux and Windows. Willner has spent her Intel career managing teams of engineers and program managers in various product development groups. Before joining CCG, she was director of program management for Intel Federal LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation. Previously, as director of customer development engineering in Intel’s Service Provider Division, she managed the digital home group’s worldwide technical support organization. Earlier in her Intel career, she spent three years as software director for the LAN access division and created software for Intel’s ethernet product families spanning mobile, high-end server and embedded platforms. Before joining Intel in 1996, Willner spent 15 years at IBM, where she specialized in software and product development using advanced technologies such as speech recognition, natural language interfaces and digital video. Willner earned a B.S in mathematics education and an M.S. in management science, both from the University of Miami.
