SUSAN BURNETT is the founder and CEO of Susan Burnett Consulting. She has dedicated the last 35 years of her career to developing great leaders and healthy organizations where the business and its people thrive and grow. Her career began at HP where she held global marketing services and talent and organization development roles.  She left HP to lead Gap Inc. talent management, where she partnered with the board and CEO to restructure the company for growth and build a strong leadership pipeline for the future.  From there she joined Deloitte to lead the design and development of Deloitte University (DU) and build a new talent strategy for the business. From Deloitte Burnett became the SVP of talent at Yahoo!. Today she focuses on developing leaders at every level, especially women leaders.  She is on the faculty at Antioch University Santa Barbara where she teaches Values-Based Leadership for the women and leadership ten-month certificate program targeted at mid-career women leaders.  Burnett is also a leader in Stanford’s Designing Your Life Lab. Burnett is the author of a commentary on executive education for Harvard Business Review, and co-author of “Hewlett-Packard Takes the Waste Out of Leadershipfor the Journal of Organizational Excellence.
