Jill Strawbridge

JILL STRAWBRIDGE has more than twenty years’ experience leading user experience research (UX) teams. She currently leads a new UX research strategy team at Google, which provides strategy and support across the corporate engineering portfolio of products. Her team collaborates with product management and engineering teams to provide research leadership, nurture the research community, and increase growth and innovation opportunities through foundational research and programs like rapid research labs. Prior to Google, Strawbridge was most recently at Hulu, and prior at Pearson Education, Yahoo and Symantec. She brings extensive UX research experience supporting enterprise product design: international trade systems at Citibank; enterprise security systems at Symantec; the digital advertising exchange at Yahoo!; and flight systems design at Honeywell Aerospace. She most recently led the UX research team at Hulu. Strawbridge earned an MS in human factors and applied experimental psychology, and a PhD in human factors and industrial, and systems engineering. She has served as an adjunct professor for many years at UCLA, Art Center College of Design, and Loyola Marymount University. Her decades of teaching experience provide her with outstanding capabilities to guide, mentor, educate, and grow researchers. @google
