Erin Pham Steinhauer

Erin Steinhauer is vice president, financial inclusion with Visa, Inc. She and her team are devoted to providing unbanked people access to the financial services and tools they require to achieve security and prosperity.  In this capacity, she leads Visa’s global financial inclusion strategy and programs in markets around the world. Prior to Visa, Steinhauer was international VP at New York Life International, responsible for supporting business operations in India, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.  Before New York Life, she held senior positions in major U.S. technology firms and industry associations in Washington, DC, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Telecommunication Trade Association.  She started her career in the International Trade Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Originally from Vietnam, Steinhauer is a senior business and policy leader with broad government and commercial experience, has a long track record in building successful partnership, corporate strategies and policy initiatives across Asia on behalf of a range of corporations, the U.S. government and trade associations in financial services and technology sectors. Steinhauer has degrees in international relations and economics from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  @visa
