Brian Miller

BRIAN MILLER is the vice president of learning development and inclusion for Gilead Sciences.  Miller joined Gilead in 2010 and oversees all employee development including executive development. The learning development and inclusion function also has responsibility for the executive coaching program, mentoring program, behavioral assessments, career management, inclusion and diversity, new hire/new manager orientation, as well as organizational design, change management, team building, and strategy tools. Prior to joining Gilead, Miller was the director of Amgen’s global learning and development function. He also served as an executive consultant and worked for several Fortune 500/1000 organizations including Adidas, Citibank, Ford Motor Company, HP, Microsoft, and Nike. Miller is a former ASTD National board member, (American Society for Training & Development), now known as Association for Talent Development (ATD). Miller has published articles for ASTD’s Training + Development (T+D) magazine and LiNE Zine. He has spoken at industry conferences including Harvard University’s iS2K conference, the MASIE Center’s TechLearn conference, Online Learning conference, and the NAAAHR National conference.  He earned an Ed.M. in technology in Learning with honors from Harvard Graduate School of Education.  @gileadsciences
