Patricia McDonald

PATRICIA McDONALD is vice president of human resources and director of the Intel talent organization at Intel Corporation. She leads a global organization aiming to make Intel’s diverse talent a major strategic advantage. Since joining Intel in 1986, McDonald has held a wide range of engineering, manufacturing and management positions, including plant manager of Fab 20. As director of the ATMx organization, she led a mission-based team that collaborated with ATM factory partners to achieve new levels of affordability, efficiency and profitability. As director of the product health enhancement organization, she created a global organization that delivered breakthrough systems and results in product quality, cost and time-to-market. During her time in manufacturing, she was recognized with an Intel Quality award for P860 Virtual Factory efforts. Long a champion of diversity at Intel, McDonald is Intel’s executive sponsor for the Women at Intel Network (WIN). With 33 chapters worldwide, WIN is Intel’s largest opt-in employee resource group. Her commitments to collaboration, leadership and diversity have made McDonald a visible public speaker at industry conferences, universities, hospitals and across Intel, and she has been in media such as USA Today, Associated Press and Bloomberg.
