Michelle Glauser

MICHELLE GLAUSER wrote her master’s thesis on women’s autobiographical acts on the internet and turned from academia to tech when she learned to code at Hackbright Academy in 2012. She has since worked as a software engineer at startups in Shanghai and San Francisco. She was most recently the sole engineer at Zana.io, a platform of lessons taught by successful entrepreneurs that was recently acquired by Startups.co. Glauser is passionate about helping more underrepresented individuals join and feel comfortable in tech and ran the #ILookLikeAnEngineer ad campaign and event in 2015. She is currently organizing free tech classes for low-income women and genderqueer adults, starting in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. @michelleglauser
