Aisha Ibrahim

AISHA IBRAHIM received her formal culinary degree while attending the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Born in the Philippines, and an East Coast transplant, she has spent the last eight years working in such iconic Bay Area restaurants as Aqua, Foreign Cinema, Betelnut, before working her way up to executive chef of the Spanish-inspired Ramblas at the age of 24. She further refined her skills by staging at two-Michelin star Manresa in 2010, followed by a stint at three-Michelin star Nihonryori RyuGin in Tokyo under Chef Seiji Yamamoto in early 2011. Upon her return from Japan, she spent a year with Chef James Syhabout at Commis in Oakland. She then returned to Manresa accepting a position as Chef de Partie, and has remained there for the last two and a half years working her way up to her current position as Sous Chef.
